And didn't eat.

But oh, how pretty!

Now, I did, however, eat this tart -- warm goat cheese and caramelized onion -- at my first trip to Balthazar today at brunch.

The filling absolutely dissolved in my mouth upon contact with my taste buds. (Yes, it was that good.)

(Oh, and in non-tart-related news, my mom enjoyed a Ramos Fizz for the first time in twenty years!)
